Our goal is that Bainbridge Island be recognized and valued as a cultural community. We advocate for funding, both public and private, for local organizations as well as produce our own programming and support local cultural efforts.

The Bainbridge Island Historical Society collects, preserves and interprets Bainbridge's colorful history, produces oral histories and videos, sponsors programs about Island history and operates a historical museum containing exhibits and a research library.

Bainbridge Public Library
Provides a full range of library services for adults and children. While library books and staff are provided by the Kitsap Regional Library System, the building and grounds are owned and maintained by the people of Bainbridge Island.
The Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary, a landscape of textures, shapes and colors that nurtures and refreshes the soul, an educational resource for schools, a venue for performing artists and an active advocate for rational environment protection strategies.

IMG is dedicated to the enhancement of music education and performance. It provides facilities for teaching, rehearsal, recitals, performance and recording and offers individual music instruction, academic music classes, community workshops and youth activities.
