B.I. Special Needs Foundation
The Bainbridge Island Special Needs Foundation provides programs and a dedicated neighborhood-based facility (The Stephens House) where individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, teachers and caregivers can connect with each other and the community at large.

B.I. Visually Impaired Persons Support Group
We offer support, encouragement and hope to blind and low-vision persons and serve as a community resource regarding their needs. Monies received help with operating costs, community outreach and the purchasing of equipment.
Bainbridge Committee
Works with community agencies to provide confidential emergency financial aid to Island families. Among other things, aid is given for medical bills, housing, clothing, childcare and utilities. Ninety-nine percent of funds received go back to the community.
Elder and Adult Day Services
Elder and Adult Day Services has provided relief to caregivers since 1984 by offering nationally accredited day health programs focused on the needs of frail seniors and developmentally disabled adults age 18-100+.

HHHS implements the Human Services Element of the Comprehensive Plan by identifying critical needs, tracking services, supporting human service organizations and fostering improvements in the range and delivery of health, housing, and human services.

Helpline House
An umbrella of social services: Donations support professional crisis intervention, assessment, resource referral, advocacy, family counseling program, food bank, clothing, transportation assistance and medical equipment loan. Neighbor helping neighbor - one neighbor at a time.

Hope House of Bainbridge Island
Hope House is an adult family home that cares for our community members with developmental disabilities or mental illness. It strives to provide a natural living environment, encourages independence and promotes community interaction.
Housing Resources Board
HRB provides rental housing, support services & development programs for both rental and home ownership. HRB is committed to the preservation & expansion of housing opportunities from very low income rentals to home ownership using the Community Land Trust model.

Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of B.I.
A service organization of trained volunteers helping the elderly and those temporarily in need with tasks of day-to-day living. Volunteers provide transportation, grocery shopping, errands, companionship and respite care.

Washington State Smile Partners
Washington State Smile Partners provides preventive oral health services to low-income BI families and individuals. The Smiles For Life Program for 60 years and older adults operates Mondays at BI Senior Community Center.

YWCA Alive: B.I. Domestic Violence Program
YWCA ALIVE provides a comprehensive range of services for domestic violence victims. Services include: advocacy-based counseling, legal advocacy, support groups and community education. OCFA funding provides for the BI satellite office.
