ABC Education/Conservation Foundation
The ABC Conservation/Education Foundation encourages and supports public education on the protection and preservation of the environment and natural resources of Bainbridge Island and its surrounding area.

B.I. Land Trust
BILT preserves scenic Island vistas, natural areas and wildlife habitats (>1,100 acres to date) by holding conservation easements, facilitating land acquisitions, stewarding protected lands, and educating the public on conservation strategies. Donations support these activities.

Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation is committed to the enhancement of the Island?s parks and recreational facilities and expanding opportunities for residents to participate in recreational, athletic and cultural programs.

B.I. Rowing Club
BIRC promotes and develops recreational and competitive rowing opportunities for all youth and adults of the B.I. community (and wider area). We promote health and fitness through rowing activities.

Battle Point Astronomical Association
The BPAA provides an observatory, telescopes and space dedicated to many aspects of astronomy, including Star Parties, educational programs, public lectures, astronomy courses, research projects and construction programs. OCFA funds, along with membership dues, directly support operations.

Community Energy Solutions
Community Energy Solutions brings new energy solutions to the community. We do this through the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs and projects. Our pilot community solar energy project was at Sakai School.

IslandWood
IslandWood is a unique outdoor learning center designed to provide exceptional learning experiences and inspire lifelong environmental and community stewardship. IslandWood offers programming for local schools, community programs, and volunteer opportunities.

Natural Landscapes Project/Oysters for Salmon
Natural Landscapes Project/Oysters For Salmon uses shellfish to filter nutrient pollution, while educating adults and science students about organic gardening and pollution prevention. Staff actively work on local issues protecting our waters, shorelines, and wildlife habitat.

PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap
Since 1975 PAWS has helped thousands of Island pets and their families live richer, healthier lives. With no government funding, services include pet adoption, humane education, spay/neuter, lost & found, emergency veterinary assistance, and animal assisted therapy.

Trust for Working Landscapes
The Trust for Working Landscapes engages Islanders in ecologically sustainable care of farm and forest land on Bainbridge Island and promotes local consumption of locally grown and processed organic food products.

Provides compassionate rehabilitation services to injured, sick and orphaned wildlife, assures their safe release and promotes their protection through public outreach, education and involvement.
