A Community Connector for Local Nonprofits

One Call For All is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening Bainbridge Island by supporting other local nonprofits that serve our community. Through our annual Red Envelope Campaign, we bring these organizations together and make it easier for community members to give, ensuring that funds are directed to the nonprofits creating impact across the island.

Our mission is to enrich and improve the lives of our neighbors by coordinating an annual campaign that supports nonprofit organizations serving Bainbridge Island.

What We Do

Each year, One Call For All coordinates a community-wide giving program that brings together more than 130 local nonprofit partners. We:

  • Connect community members with trusted local nonprofits

  • Streamline charitable giving through a coordinated annual campaign

  • Reduce administrative and fundraising costs for nonprofit organizations

  • Support a broad range of community needs, including arts, education, environment, youth programs, health, and human services

At the center of this effort is our annual Red Envelope Campaign, which brings the community together in support of local organizations.

How We Operate

One Call For All is designed for efficiency and impact.

  • 100% of donations are passed along to designated nonprofits
    OCFA covers all processing and administrative fees so every eligible donation is passed through in full.

  • Lean operational structure
    The organization is led by a part-time Executive Director and governed by a volunteer board of directors. While we raise $2-3 million annually, our operational overhead remains less than 5%.

  • Yearly campaign model with flexible giving options
    Donations are primarily coordinated through our Red Envelope Campaign every fall, but year-round giving is available online and through traditional methods.

Our History

A Tradition of Community Giving Since 1960

One Call For All was founded in 1960 to simplify local charitable giving by uniting multiple nonprofit fundraising efforts into a single community campaign. The first effort raised $16,624 for 20 local nonprofits, establishing a model of collective giving that continues today.

That grassroots effort has grown into the annual Red Envelope Campaign and online giving platform. Over the decades, OCFA has raised more than $43 million for local nonprofits, including over $3 million in the 2025–2026 campaign alone, supporting more than 130 partner organizations.

For more than 65 years, One Call For All has remained a steady part of Bainbridge Island’s nonprofit community, helping ensure local organizations have the resources they need to serve our community.
