-
Hi all -
Happy September and back-to-school! Our website is now live with the 26/27 lineup of partner agencies (check out the full list in our Nonprofit Directory), ready as always to collect donations on your behalf.
Welcome to the 7 organizations (re)joining for 26/27:
Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse
Bainbridge Island Pickleball Community
Community Response Fund at BCF
Ink & Ribbon Press
One Heart Wild
The ReUse Depot
Sharing and Spreading Hope
As we gear up for the busiest part of our fundraising season, I also wanted to share some important dates & info:
1) Red Envelope 101 webinars
Attending one of these webinars is a great way to learn the important details about OCFA, and a chance to ask questions. I highly recommend it for those who are new to their organizational roles, or for anyone from our new partner agencies. This year, I'll be hosting 2 sessions:
Weds Sept 9th at 12:00 noon
Thurs Sept 10th at 7:00 pm
Please RSVP if you'd like to attend, and I'll forward you the corresponding Zoom link. Feel free to invite staff, board members, or volunteers from your organization as appropriate. (If you're unable to attend, slides from the presentation will be available afterwards.)
2) Annual stuffing party on Friday, October 9th!
As usual, we will be setting up shop at the Fil-Am Hall on Bainbridge, from 9am to noon on Fri Oct 9th to manually stuff 14,000 envelopes. Please drop by to lend a hand, mingle with other partner agency reps, and help us officially kick off the new campaign. No need to RSVP.
3) BI Rotary's Community Grants cycle: Sept 15th - Oct 15th
The application window for the Rotary's annual Community Grants for local nonprofits is approaching! Visit their info page to learn more about requirements and eligibility: https://www.bainbridgeislandrotary.org/how-we-serve/community-grants/
4) BCF's free nonprofit training series
The Bainbridge Community Foundation once again has a great lineup of nonprofit workshops this fall. Click on the links below to learn more and register (or reach out to Nicole Nathanson at BCF: nicole@bainbridgecf.org).
End of Year Fundraising with Brittany Kirk: Thurs Sept 17th from 10-12 at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA)
Nonprofit Management Mini-Course with David Harrison: Thursdays in October (10/1, 10/8, 10/15 and 10/22) from 3-5pm at BCF
Real Time Strategic Planning with David Marzahl: Thurs Nov 12th from 10-12 at BPA
Improving Core Financial Reporting with Erin Thomasson: Thurs Dec 3rd from 10-12 at BPA
As always, let me know if you have any questions or need support!
Best,
Lisa

Hi partner agency rep -
I'm pleased to let you know that your final disbursement check from our 25/26 Red Envelope Campaign is on its way to you. This check is for donations we have received on your behalf from January 1st through July 31st, 2026, plus your shares of the Community Fund (1 share for each donation of $20+ throughout the campaign year, logging in at a record $5.21/ea):
Check #: xxxx
Amount of disbursement: $xxxx
As always, One Call For All has absorbed all fees related to processing your donations, as well as issued appropriate tax acknowledgements to donors. We are happy to support you in this regard, so that you can continue to focus on your organization's mission.
As you may know from my previous emails, we've been working on updating the OCFA website -- both some aesthetic and functional updates. Phase 1 is complete, so check it out at www.onecallforall.org! Phase 2 will be an upgrade to the donations side of our site (donations.onecallforall.org), and is expected to debut in September. (We'll keep you posted. For the time being, the usual donation pages are still in place.) As a result of all this, the former systems for accessing your donor data (both the Partner Portal and the Donor Reports page) are now obsolete, but here is your Google sheet itemizing your donations for the year: xxxxx (Please respect the sensitive nature of this information, and do not share with anyone outside your organization, including a fiscal sponsor.)
Lastly, as we wrap up this record-breaking $3.1M campaign, please know how much we appreciate your partnership in raising both funds and awareness for our local nonprofit community. We are so fortunate to live in a place where the good work of our 130+ diverse partner agencies is affirmed and generously supported!
All the best,
Lisa

Hello new Partner Agency reps, and welcome to OCFA's 26/27 campaign!
Now that August is upon us, the 26/27 version of our Red Envelope Campaign is officially underway, and includes all of YOU!
Although our hard-copy, snail-mail envelopes will not be sent to all Bainbridge households until mid-October, you are free to start making use of our resources (consider bookmarking our Partner Agency Resources page for now) and directing donors to our site on your behalf. Your organizational profiles and donation pages have all been created, and you are now included in our online nonprofit directory. (These links should still work with our revamped website -- we're doing both aesthetic and functional updates -- which should be launched by end-September; we'll let you know when that's ready, too!)
Speaking of dates, just to reiterate the timeline for these opening months of the new campaign:
August = soft launch of 26/27 campaign (i.e. we can start collecting funds on your behalf)
Mid-September = Red Envelope 101 webinar (via Zoom) to learn more about the campaign and have a chance to ask questions; I will offer up a few dates as the time gets closer
Early-Mid October = stuffing party at the B.I. Fil-Am Hall on Fri 10/9 from 9:00 am-12:00 noon (followed by mailing of envelopes the next week)
Late October = special OCFA supplement to the BI Review will go to all Island households; you'll have an opportunity to place an ad (at reduced nonprofit rates) if you'd like to gain some visibility
And although I'll cover more specifics of the annual timeline in the Red Envelope 101 webinar, a quick reminder of our distribution schedule so that you can plan your finances accordingly:
Disbursement check #1 will be issued in mid-January 2027, for donations received 8/1/2026 through 12/31/2026 (this tends to be 85-90% of annual funds raised)
Disbursement check #2 will be issued in mid-August 2027, for donations received 1/1/2027 through 7/31/2026 *plus* your shares of the Community Fund (1 share earned for each donation of $20+)
Welcome (or welcome back, to a few of you) to One Call For All! We're excited to have you with us for the coming year!
All the best,
Lisa
