Ink & Ribbon Press

Ink & Ribbon Press is a nonprofit literary publisher devoted to poetry as a crafted, enduring art form. Founded in 2025 on Bainbridge Island, Washington, the press produces limited-run poetry books designed with careful attention to language, typography, materials, and permanence. Each title is published in a small edition of approximately 250 copies, alongside a very small number of fine art editions created for archival preservation and patron support.

The press also hosts The LemonLight Prize, an annual $3,000 award and publication opportunity that celebrates originality, emotional clarity, and craft in contemporary poetry. Through open reading periods, public events, and an engaged digital readership, Ink & Ribbon Press connects poets, readers, educators, and book artists in a shared commitment to cultural stewardship.
